If you have the administrator account, you can easily download files that customers upload during orders. But what if you've set up multiple users to manage the store? Typically, store owners create user accounts for people who assist them with orders, customer service, or product management, and they will receive a Permission Denied error if they attempt to download files attached to orders. This is easily fixed by adding the appropriate permissions to the user group. This article will show you how to configure file download permissions for user groups in OpenCart.
To add file download permissions for user groups in OpenCart, follow these steps:
Select the User Group to modify, and then click on Edit to change the group permission. The example below uses a created custom user group called Manager. To change the group permissions click on the Edit button:
Check the “tool/upload"option in the Access Permission section:
Check the “tool/upload"option in the Modify Permission:
